The Boston Celtics have announced Tuesday afternoon via Twitter that forward Gordon Hayward is expected to miss approximately 4 weeks. Hayward suffered a Grade III sprain of his right ankle during the 4th quarter of Monday night’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

With Hayward out, the Celtics will likely move Marcus Smart into the starting lineup. If the Celtics were to keep advancing, Hayward could potentially return for the Conference Finals.

Game 2 of the series vs Philadelphia will take place a 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
