If you have visited Nashville in recent years, you’ve seen rooftop dining and bars on every corner, on every block, and they have clearly become some of the most popular destinations in the city.
Here we go, Boston. Although certainly not the first in the city, the House of Blues brand new Deck On Landsdowne in the first in the area and the views look to be stunning, with Fenway at your side and the iconic Citgo sign looming close by.
The Deck opened this past Friday and will be open Thursdays through Sundays through October for dining and drinks.
Personal sized pizzas, Mediterranean and fruit and cheese platters will be prepared by House of Blues Boston chef Kevin Doherty. The establishment has also teamed up with The Sausage Guy, for a truly authentic Lansdowne Street experience.
The Deck on Lansdowne, located at 45 Landsdowne Street in Boston, is cashless and will offer contactless ordering and payment through ROOAM. Guests will scan a QR code at their table and will be able to place their order as well as pay their tab directly from their phone.
Of course social distancing and mask-wearing CDC guidelines will be practiced. And the venue’s Facebook page states:
“The safety of our guests and staff is always our top priority and planned for accordingly. We encourage those who are sick to stay home, and remind everyone coming to The Deck on Lansdowne to wear a mask when they are not seated at a table, wash their hands with soap and water and use hand sanitizer. We continue to implement preventive measures in line with the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other health agencies.”
