Tiger As Spirit Animal; What Might That Mean?

Because the tiger has been front and center these past few weeks (the Tiger King series on Netflix and a tiger at the Bronx Zoo recently testing positive for Covid 19), and because the Universe is always and in all ways speaking to us, it dawned on me there may be something to learn from the tiger totem.
There are many books on the topic of animal totems and their meanings (Animal Speak: The Spiritual & Magical Powers of Creatures Great & Small by Ted Andrews is one of my favorites). And of course the internet has a plethora of material on the subject.
