LONDON, ENGLAND - DECEMBER 28: Rose, a three-year-old Rottweiler puppy, who is looking for a new home, sits for a portrait at Battersea Dogs and Cat's Home on December 28, 2016 in London, England. Rose was brought in to Battersea after her owners, who bought her off the internet, found out they were not allowed to keep pets in their house. According to the charity, "She's a bundle of energy and love. She's full of beans and needs new owners who can help teach her the ways of the world. She's a great puppy, looking for a home with people with guarding breed experience and can help her mature in to the lovely lady we know she can be". Battersea Dog's and Cats Home was founded 150 years ago and has rescued, reunited and rehomed over three million dogs and cats. The average stay for a dog is just 28 days although some stay much longer. Around 550 dogs and 200 cats are provided refuge by Battersea at any given time. (Photo by Dan Kitwood/Getty Images)

I am crying as I post this. If you can no longer care for your pets, please bring them to a shelter. No one will judge you. Situations change. Life happens. Please don’t just abandon them.

Mother dog found on side of road pulling crate containing 4 puppies

(WHDH) - A mother dog was found last week on the side of a Georgia road pulling a crate containing her four young puppies, officials said. The dog stood by and watched as someone stuffed her puppies into a wire crate, tied a blue belt around her collar, and then tied the belt to the crate before ditching the animals on a dirt road, according to McIntosh County Animal Services.
