His jokes are not funny to me,  BUT…

Tracy Morgan himself still makes me laugh. Maybe it’s his unpolished, start and stop, clipped word, stumbling speech pattern. To me, Tracy Morgan is funniest, when he bombs. I mean, he’s a celebrity, but today he’s known for car accidents which get’s him TV hosting gigs, and has given him new material for his content. Most of his jokes, including his Tom Brady dig, did not land that well during his host duties at the recent ESPY’s award show. It was a car wreck, literally. Many of his jokes were about his settlement from the terrible car crash he was in. The audience seemed to recoil when he joked about his wife nagging “get off the couch, get into a car crash and make us some money.”  But this time, I’m happy to report that he didn’t need an ambulance. His jokes did. Then why do I want to watch it again? Maybe it’s why we slow down at car wrecks.
