The average Massachusetts resident would need to make $33.81 an hour to afford a two-bedroom rental residence at the fair market rent, according to a new study. The National Low Income Housing Coalition released a "2019 Out of Reach" report, which found that in Massachusetts, the average two-bedroom apartment costs $1,758.
