George Harrison lost, but the family of Marvin Gaye won. Huey Lewis won the battle in court, when he accused Ray Parker Jr. of stealing the melody of I Want a New Drug to use on Ghostbusters.
Now Carrie Underwood is accused of being a Sunday Night Football theme song stealer as singer, Heidi Merrill claims Carrie straight jacked her hit, Game On and used it without permission. Merrill says she submitted the song to Underwood’s producer and was eventually told that Carrie’s camp passed on using Game On.
