DAVID ORTIZ SHOOTING UPDATE: Big Papi Stable After Surgery!

Red Sox legend David Ortiz is reported to be in stable condition in a Dominican Republic hospital after he was shot in the back while he was at a nightclub last night! He underwent surgery after the bullet traveled through his lower left back and exited through his stomach. According to ESPN, Ortiz suffered damage to his colon, intestines, gallbladder and liver, but is expected to survive.
His surgeon told the media that Big Papi said “Please don’t let me die. I’m a good man” as he was being wheeled into surgery.
