Rookie Chavis Gives Red Sox Walk Off Win in 10!
Rookie Michael Chavis continues to impress and play like a seasoned veteran. The 23-year-old singled up the middle to drive in Xander Bogaerts in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Red Sox a 5-4 win over the Rockies at Fenway Park.
The Red Sox staked themselves to 5-0 lead, only to have the Rockies tie it up. JD Martinez blasted a home run and knocked in three runs. He’s homered in three straight games. Sox are off today. The Astros in town for the first of three tomorrow night at Fenway.
