Mikey The Plumber’s Kentucky Derby Picks!
The 145th Kentucky Derby is scheduled for tomorrow night at 6:50 at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, and our horse racing expert, Mikey The Plumber, is trying to help you win a little bit of money. Legally. Really.
The Derby 20 horse field was muddied up yesterday when they scratched the favorite, Omaha Beach, because of an epiglottis problem. So, Mikey called in today to give us his picks that he thinks could make you a few dollars if you want to drive over to Suffolk Downs and wager a bet. This is what Mikey says to do: walk up to the window and say “Give me the $1 Exacta Box: 5-7-8-14-16-17.” It’s a $30 bet. All that needs to happen is two of the numbers have to come in 1 and 2.
Full disclosure, I take Mikey’s advice every year and I have won before. Actually, Brian Bell and I both won a few years ago and I still have ticket because I never cashed it in! LOL
