Music News

All I know is that to me, this video recreation is lots of fun.

As is sort of tradition when he appears on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Paul Rudd took part in another music video recreation. This time, he and Fallon did a shot-for-shot remake of Dead or Alive’s “You Spin Me Round (Like A Record).”

Fallon and Rudd discussed the making-of that video during Rudd’s interview segment of the show and how much of an earworm that classic one-hit wonder really is. Rudd also touched on how he FaceTimed his children while dressed as late Dead or Alive singer Pete Burns, who then commented on how he looked like a member of very popular reality show franchise.

This is now the third time Fallon and Rudd have recreated a music video shot-for-shot. The first two times were Styx’s “Too Much Time On My Hands” and Go West’s “King of Wishful Thinking.”
