The 2019 Billboard Music Awards just added a massive dose of star power with the announcement of Madonna joining the list of performers during the May 1 telecast.
Billboard confirmed the pop icon will performing her latest single “Medellín,” which features reggaeton artist Maluma.
Madonna has promised “something special” with this performance, her first TV performance of new music in more than four years. She last performed on the Billboard Music Awards in 2016 when she sang a medley of “Nothing Compares 2 U” and “Purple Rain” in honor of Prince.
The 2019 Billboard Music Awards air live on NBC at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
