He gave a young Tom Petty guitar lessons, learned to play slide guitar from Duane Allman, palled around with Stephen Stills and had been on the road with David Crosby and Graham Nash when he got the call to join the Eagles.
Don Felder's new album American Rock 'n' Roll is out and the list of contributors is like a who's who of rock and roll.
I was absolutely thrilled to talk with Don about the new album, his experience of being a kid attending Woodstock and "what was it like to play guitar in front of Jimmy Page??.!
