It was a perfect weekend in Wallingford, Conn., a place I've never even heard of!

We went there because Dave loves Joe Satriani, who was headlining the Jimi Hendrix Experience concert at the Oakdale Theater. Now, I'm not a big guitar music fan, but I love the idea of a bed and breakfast and dinner out, so I was HAPPY to make the two hour drive.

The Wallingford Victorian Inn was absolutely stunning and a perfect place for a weekend getaway. Yes, you do have to talk to other people at breakfast, but I'm social in the morning so I don't mind! We also hit two excellent restaurants - The Library Wine Bar and Bistro and J. Christian's

The concert was ooookay. I fell asleep in the middle of it. Not joking. But it really was a perfect weekend. Check out some photos!
