Mookie Betts had some puck luck last night. Well, in hockey terms. Betts doubled off the third base bag and knocked in two runs in the top of the 9th inning and the Red Sox snapped their four game losing streak with a 6-3 win in Oakland.

When Betts hit the ball it looked like it was just a grounder down the line that would be handled by A’s third baseman, the sure handed Matt Chapman. But, it had the bad a sailed into left field. Blake Swihart had a big night with three hits, including a home run. Heath Hembree go the win in relief. Sox wrap up the series in Oakland this afternoon. Eduardo Rodriguez gets the start.
