FLASHBACK: Patriots Beat Rams In Super Bowl 36 To Start Brady/Belichick Dynasty!
It was the underdog Patriots with a first year quarterback against the then St. Louis Rams and their MVP quarterback Kurt Warner and “The Greatest Show on Turf” in Super Bowl 36 in New Orleans in February 2006 that first showcased Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.
The Patriots stunned the Rams 20-17 courtesy of a field goal from Adam Viniateri and the rest is history. The Patriots and Rams meet in Super Bowl 53 in Atlanta in 12 days. Brady and Belichick have won four more Super Bowls since that day in 2002 and will be playing in their 9th Super Bowl together.
