The Patriots got a first round playoff bye for the ninth straight year, but this year was different. Tom Brady’s play slipped. Gronk struggled. The Pats’ offense wasn’t nearly as explosive as it was just a year ago, when TB12 was the league MVP. His contract is up after this season. Could this Sunday’s game against the Chargers be Brady’s last game in a Patriots uniform? We asked Mr Everything, Bob Ryan!

Despite his well state intention that he wants to play until he’s 45, there are several questions surrounding Brady’s future. The Pats never signed him to a long term contract extension, there was off season turmoil with coach Bill Belichick and he skipped OTA’s.
