PODCAST: Its A New Year, Lets Save A Life
In pouring rain, why did 2000 people still show up?
One of the best experiences for me in 2018 was attending the Out Of The Darkness Walk at City Hall Plaza last Fall. Meeting Tara Greeley, the area director of Eastern Massachusetts for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and her crew was an inspirational experience for me and my family.
It was an eye-opening experience to see 2000 people come to walk to create awareness on how we can stop suicide. It was a cold, raw Saturday in the pouring rain. All of us were soaked. BUT…it didn’t seem to matter. What touched me the most is that EVERYONE there knew someone, maybe themselves that have been affected by mental illness.
I hope you’ll take a listen my podcast THE SEVEN to talk about this amazing cause and learn ways to make each day brighter this year. It may be an important, inspiring way to start 2019! It is for me!
