Two big pieces of news from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame today leading up to their biggest news of the year later this week.
First, the fan vote for the 2019 induction class has been completed and tallied, and receiving an extra vote on the fans’ ballot are Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, Todd Rundgren, The Zombies and The Cure.
While those five acts won the fan vote, the actual 2019 induction class could look different. Fortunately, the Rock Hall won’t make fans wait too long to see who will make up the 2019 induction class. The official 2019 class announcement will take place Thursday, December 13 at 8 A.M. EST via the Rock Hall’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages.
The 2019 Rock Hall Induction ceremony will be taking place on March 29 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Ticket information for the ceremony will be released in January.
