Thirty-three years to the day former Washington Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann suffered a gruesome broken leg, Redskins’ QB Alex Smith suffered the same exact injury, with Theismann watching from the stands. Smith suffered a broken tibia and fibula and underwent emergency surgery and is out for the rest of the year.
