Looks like John Mellencamp found a lover that won’t drive him crazy.
Mellencamp and actress Meg Ryan are newly engaged, which will mark marriage number four for the singer-songwriter and marriage number two for Ryan.
Ryan went public with the engagement news in the most modern way possible with an Instagram post of a drawing of she and Mellencamp along with the caption, “ENGAGED!”
(Side note: What’s going on with Mellencamp’s hair in that drawing? He actually has an awesome head of hair, not this patchy nonsense!)
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Mellencamp and Ryan were together for four years from 2010-2014 when they split, but they got back together in the spring of 2017. No word yet on when these two will head down the aisle, but fingers crossed that more doodle announcements will be on the way.
