JD, Mookie, Sale Lead Red Sox To 5-4 Win!
The Red Sox best players during the season were their best last night as they beat the Yankees 5-4 at Fenway in game 1 of the ALDS!
J.D. Martinez blasted a three run homer, Mookie Betts had a big double in the third and Chris Sale pitched 5 1/3 innings, giving up two runs and striking out 8 for his first post season win! Andrew Benintendi added two hits and scored two runs.
The bullpen was shaky, but the Sox got the win! Game two is tonight at 8:15 at Fenway. David Price gets the start!
