Hank’s Ankle Surgery Update!
So, it’s been 17 days since I had surgery to repair my broken tibia and fibula. I went to the doctor yesterday and he said it is healing well!
The swelling has gone down and he said it’s about where he thought it would be, swelling wise. He took out the 31 staples, too, and now I don’t have to shower with anything covering my leg!
I go back to see him in two months and then I will begin gradual weight bearing on the ankle (my right).
