Cookie lovers, cookie monsters, and casual cookie crunchers – heads up! There’s a new cookie in town!
Surprisingly, we’ve never had a Chocolate Chip Cookie that was part of the Girl Scout Cookie regime, but that is changing in 2019 with the newest muchable, Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Stewart Goodbody, the Senior Director of Communications For Girl Scouts of the USA told TODAY Food the following:
“We’re excited to announce the new Caramel Chocolate Chip cookie as part of the 2019 Girl Scout Cookie lineup… The flavor is on-trend: chocolate and caramel cookie flavor combinations are increasingly popular among consumers.”
He also noted that this cookie is a gluten-free option, which played heavily into the pick of the new flavor.
I’m super excited for this flavor, but it will be hard not to just stock up on my Thin Mints! We shall see…
