Alabama’s Montgomery Biscuits will host “Millennial Night” this weekend, promising participation ribbons, selfie stations, a napping area, and “lots of avocados”.

But millennials don’t seem to appreciate the joke.  The promotion faced heavy backlash on Twitter, with some claiming the promotion would keep millennials away.

But the team says the backlash just means people are talking about their promotion.  And hey – shouldn’t millennials understand the power of viral marketing?
