Red Sox’ Power Explosion Rocks Angels 9-1
The very powerful Mike Trout and the Angels arrived at Fenway Park and the buzz was “Wow, the best player in the majors is here!” Well, Mookie Betts showed why he is a challenger to Trout for that title.
The rest of the Red Sox lineup came through, too. Mookie led off the first inning with a home run and J.D. Martinez, Christian Vasquez and Jackie Bradley Jr. also blasted four baggers. JBJ was 3-4 with 4 rbi’s and has 6 hits in his last two games.
David Price continued his dominant pitching, throwing 6 innings of one run ball, with 7 strikeouts for his 9th win.
