Former WWE Star Has Been Arrested
Brian Christopher Lawler, a former wrestler, has been arrested.
The former WWE wrestler, otherwise known as Grandmaster Sexay, was arrested in Tennessee and is being accused of not paying a hotel bill.
According to TMZ, police were reportedly called to the Hampton Inn in Memphis, amid reports Lawler had packed up and left the premises without checking out.
The bill exceeded $800.
Officers with the Memphis Police Department found Lawler nearby and arrested him. The former wrestler told police he had no intentions of not paying the hotel fee, rather the credit card he gave the hotel just didn’t have enough available funds on it.
Hmmmm …
This isn’t Lawler’s first run in with the law.
He was arrested several times a few years back. One of his prior arrests stems from threatening a police officer.
He currently faces theft charges.
