When Jenny Darren walked onto the stage to audition on Britain’s Got Talent, the judges clearly didn’t think much of the 68-year-old woman.

But then, when she stripped away her dowdy duds to reveal badass rock garb and proceeded to belt out AC/DC‘s “Highway to Hell,” their jaws dropped.

Of course, Darren is no musical fluke.  Per Louder Sound, Darren once fronted the band Stoney End, who opened for AC/DC back in 1977. She also had a solo career where she originated “Heartbreaker,” which would go on to be Pat Benatar’s breakout hit in 1979.
