Today officers at the Yarmouth Police Department got an uplifting site:

A surprise visit from their fellow officer, NERO, who's recovering from a shooting that took the life of his human partner, Sgt. Sean Gannon earlier this month.

Nero's caretakers say "he's not 100% yet, but is future looks bright."

I know this, today, he made the day brighter for many.
