Bruins Tattoo Toronto 5-1, Red Sox Rock The Yankees!

The Bruins opened the playoffs with a convincing 5-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs last night at the TD Garden. The B's scored three power plays goals.  Brad Marchand, who struggled over the last two weeks of the season, had a goal and an assist.

David Pastrnak had a goal and two assists and Tuukka Rask made 26 saves.

Meanwhile, a few miles away at Fenway, the Red Sox jumped out to a 6-0 lead over the rival Yankees and held on for a 6-3 win. Rick Porcello won his third straight game, pitching seven innings of two hit, shutout ball, striking out 6. Mookie Betts knocked in two runs and Andrew Benintendi and Eduardo Nunez each had two hits,
