March 20th is a special day in sports history. March 20, 1948, more specifically. That’s the day Arva and Doug Orr welcomed a new son into the world in their hometown of Parry Sound, Ontario. They named him Robert Gordon. Robert Gordon Orr. We know him as Bobby Orr, the former Bruin Hall-of-Famer and the greatest  hockey player of all time!!

Hank WANTED to be Bobby Orr when he grew up! All he was lacking was the talent, because he had the uniform! (Christmas, 1971)

Happy 70th birthday, Bobby Orr!

Enjoy his highlights, which should be in the Museum of Fine Art!

Bobby Orr's famous "flying goal" was the cup clincher in 1970. Receiving a centering pass from Derek Sanderson, Orr put a shot past Blues goalie Glenn Hall. Upon scoring, he was accidentally tripped by Blues defenceman Noel Picard, creating Orr's famous flying goal pose. This video is a combination of 3 separate videos.

They can’t catch number 4!
