Hank’s Highlights From Snowy London!
Just returned from a spectacular family trip to London to visit my daughter Charlotte, who is doing a semester abroad.
We all went, including my grandson Harvey, who is almost five months old.
The history and architecture were spectacular. It is definitely awe inspiring to stand outside of Parliament with Westminster Abbey and Big Ben behind you, the Thames River in front of you and the London Eye across the river, reachable by Westminster Bridge. Everywhere you look in London is something you’ve seen on tv or in the movies. They also got a good amount of snow, which is very unusual for London, so that added a Dickensian flavor to the trip!
The British people were very nice and quite accommodating. There are A LOT of rich people living in London. They have marvelous history and culture. However, we definitely have better teeth! 🙂
