OK. I did it. I got a pedicure. Yesterday.
So, I’ve been doing a lot of walking this winter and most of the time I’ve been wearing boots. I have some casual boots and some work boots and although they are comfortable, your feet get beat up a bit. Even nice boots aren’t as soft and comfortable as regular shoes or sneakers.
So, my feet were a little rough and dry, tired and sore and I decided to do something about it. OK, so my poor feet probably take a bit more of a beating than most because I am on the chubby side. No I’m not, I’m fat. I’ve had three or four pedicures in the past, but not in a long time.
OH. MY. GOD.
Why don’t I do this more often? It was the best 25 bucks I’ve spent in a long time. Heck, people spend $5 a day on coffee. I’d rather have one pedicure a week. I left refreshed and feeling GREAT! For the record, I did not have my toenails painted. AND, yes, the pedicurist wore gloves. I did feel badly for her because I have such ugly, “Fred Flintstone” feet. I did give her a good tip, though!
Happy Pedicuring!
