With the remake of The Lion King in the works, many are wondering what’s in store for the film’s epic soundtrack from Elton John and Tim Rice.

Sir Elton has told U.K.’s The Sun that he and Rice will be working with Beyoncé, who’s been cast in the film as Nala, on a track for the film’s closing credits.  John and Rice will also be re-working “Can You Feel The Love Tonight?”, “Hakuna Matata,” “Just Can’t Wait To Be King” and “Circle of Life” for the new version.

Add all of this to John’s upcoming farewell tour schedule, and 2018 is looking to be one of his biggest (and busiest) years of his expansive career!  He’ll certainly be going into retirement with a bang!
