Of all the things I thought I needed over the years - leg warmers, bread maker, treadmill - I never once thought I could use a FLAMETHROWER.
I thought flamethrowers were for Ghostbusters or something Chet from "Weird Science" would threaten teenagers with.
Well, I was wrong. Apparently more than 10,000 people need flamethrowers and Elon Musk's The Boring Company will deliver sometime this spring. Yes, Musk is selling flamethrowers to regular people. This is a recipe for disaster and a lot of burned turf.
Still, according to Loren Owens - WHO ALREADY HAS A FLAMETHROWER - said they are good for defrosting icy pathways (make of brick or concrete, of course) and getting rid of patio weeds. Also? They're good for melting ice on a backyard skating rink so you have a smoother surface. (Thanks Hank!)
