Princess Charlotte started her very first day of school today! I’m thrilled, because I hit “The Crown” Season 2 HARD this weekend and I’m FASCINATED by the royals. I think Charlotte has a way better shot at happiness than the royals who came before her. (See: Princess Margaret)

Things have changed.

But one thing that hasn’t! How PUT TOGETHER A PRINCESS IS. Even when she’s just out of her toddler years and getting read for the big show known as preschool.

I can’t find any of Lucy’s preschool pictures (BAD MOM) but she looked pretty awesome in first grade! – LBF

Princess Charlotte looked so grown up while wearing a pea-coat, matching shoes and hair bow, a scarf, and a backpack.

We hope she enjoys her first day of school!

Last month, Kensington Palace announced that Princess Charlotte would attend Willcocks Nursery School this year.
