I have NO idea why I was “strangling” him, but he lived.
Twenty years ago today I walked into Jim Potter's office at the Boston Herald and met this nice guy who was interviewing with Dan Rosenfeld for an EA job. Dave Falcone describes the moment like the poet that he is, but I just remember never forgetting that day. And that says something.
And then I realized today marks 23 years since I met Dave Falcone, which isn't much of an anniversary, but it IS because, after today, I will have known Dave for more than HALF OF MY LIFE.
Pretty cool! Here are some photos I found. The second one with the mayor was RIGHT after we met.
