Friendsgiving – the holiday you spend with people you really love: friends.
(Hey, I love my family, too. But friends are the family you choose. Or so I read on some really expensive wooden sign at The Paper Store.)
Anyway, it’s SWEEPING the nation! According to an article in the Boston Globe today, “Friendsgiving is approaching critical mass for retailers as a potential part of the holiday equation.” Four years ago, only 21 percent of 13-32-year-olds were interested in Friendsgiving. This year, it’s up to 30 percent.
