As I've written here, I'm a big fan of Henry David Thoreau and an even bigger fan of Don Henley. Don told me on WROR: Thoreau was the father of conservation movement.
Don's work preserving Walden Pond and the legacy of Henry David Thoreau has created wonderful, lasting ripples as thousands of people from around the globe migrate to our little neck of the woods here each year, to visit Walden Pond in Concord. Last Fall, I was honored to talk to Don about the grand opening of the new beautiful Walden Pond Visitors Center.
On November 8, Don is back in Boston talking about Walden Pond and the work of Thoreau, premiering the movie Walden.
