I am a nervous flyer. Even though flying is safe than driving, the thought of soaring 35,000 feet above the earth at 500-600 miles per hour makes me jittery.

I've reconciled that accidents are few, plane travel is safe and it's a must for living. OK, maybe not a must, but you get where your going much quicker than other means of travel.

I am fascinated by airline pilots, their intellectual and emotional make up and the professionalism.

Case in point, the pilots that landed the biggest commercial airliner in the skies!
