Whether it’s a life changing event, happy or sad, most people think it’s OK for men to cry.

There are even a list of movies where people think it’s OK for men to cry. No, Lungboy, “Cool Runnings” isn’t on the list! LOL

I will admit that I’ve been known to shed a few tears. Sad movies are the worst. I know they’re only entertainment, but some are “so real”. “Old Yeller” made me cry when I was a kid and “Bridge To Terabithia” made me wail when I took my kids and their friends to see it when they were about 10 or 11 years old.

AND….OMG…when my daughter Charlotte went to college, I cried for three weeks before she left!

We talked about men and crying on the Loren and Wally Show this morning.

When is it ok for men to cry? What brings you to tears? #WROR (no sound when we are playing music, sorry!)

Do you think it’s OK for men to cry?

My Dad and I cried when the Bruins retired Bobby Orr’s number 4 in 1979. I’m sure we weren’t alone. Right, guys? Guys?

When Is It Okay for a Man to Cry? | The Art of Manliness

Men are known as the less emotional sex; they are supposed to be bastions of stability; the rock in the middle of a storm; unflappably cool no matter what the circumstance. Of course, it's not wrong for men to get emotional. It's unhealthy to keep one's feelings bottled up and shoved deep down inside.
