The Comedy You (Likely) Aren’t Watching But Should

With award season underway, many people have their mind on movies, but there’s one TV comedy that deserves your complete attention starting tonight (January 11) at 8 PM EST on POP TV.

That TV show?  Schitt’s Creek.

Hold on…let’s explain that title.

Starring comedy icons Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara, Schitt’s Creek chronicles the Rose family, a wealthy brood who lose all of their money and end up moving to a rural town father Johnny (played by Levy) ended up buying for his son, David (played by Levy’s real-life son/show co-creator Daniel Levy) as a joke.

The name of that town?  Schitt’s Creek.

With O’Hara as matriarch Moira, a former soap opera actress, Annie Murphy as daughter Alexis and Chris Elliott as Schitt's Creek mayor Roland Schitt, this take on the classic “fish out of water” scenario will leave you drowning in laughter.

For a feel of the show, check out the trailer from season one below!

While the season three premiere airs tonight, seasons one and two of Schitt’s Creek are available for streaming on Amazon Prime.
