UPDATE: Hank's Leaky Gut Diet: The First 70 Days

On January 28th, I finally decided, AGAIN, that enough was enough with my weight. My weight loss battle has been well chronicled and I'm sure my friends and family thought "Here we go, again"!

I had discovered I had a dairy allergy and gluten sensitivity and they both cause inflammation. The "Leaky Gut Diet" is one that reduces inflammation, heals any permeability that allows certain foods to travel right into your blood stream and helps you increase the good bacteria in your digestive system.

The diet features lean proteins, low sugar fruits and vegetables and fermented foods, like kefir, kimchi, sauerkraut.

SO, desperate to get a handle on my weight and knowing I needed to get healthier, I started following the "Leaky Gut Diet" and a program from Dr. Josh Axe. I also went back to Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning in Woburn. They've helped me for years. Any time I've had success, it's been with Mike and his staff.

Well, 10 weeks later, I've lost 46 pounds and I'm feeling great again. The inflammation is gone and so are my cravings. That's never really happened to me before, even when I've lost weight. Healing a "leaky gut" can improve anxiety and other related issues and it has done that to me.
