Carrie Fisher And Harrison Ford Had An Affair In 1976 Filming 'Star Wars'

Surprised? We're not.

Carrie Fisher is sharing a "well kept secret" - but we can't say we're surprised about it, when it comes to the filming of Star Wars.

Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher had way too much heat and tension to just be acting, and now she's written a book called The Princess Diarist in which she shares her excerpts. The quote that keeps being circulated, which was obtained exclusively by People says “It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend."

She poetically explains in her excerpt that she spent the night after a birthday party for George Lucas, and her mind reeled these thoughts:

“I looked over at Harrison. A hero’s face — a few strands of hair fell over his noble, slightly furrowed brow... How could you ask such a shining specimen of a man to be satisfied with the likes of me?”

Yowza, sounds like a fairy tale. Kinda makes you wonder if that epic ad-libbed "I know" was more Harrison than Han.

Washington Post shares that Carrie was 19 at the time, with Harrison Ford at 33, and that Ford and his wife Mary Marquardt, filed for divorce in 1979, which was 2 years after A New Hope was filmed. So far, Ford's reps have not commented on the story, but People cites that Ford got a draft of the book, so he did receive a heads up.

Though not surprised, we might be a little speechless.
