Classic Rock Ghosts We’d Want To “Haunt” Us

Sadly, a lot of our favorite classic rockers are no longer with us.  Playing their music on the regular is a great way to keep their spirit alive, but with Halloween just days away, this thought popped into our heads: What if those spirits decided to pay us a visit? Slightly morbid ideas aside, we thought we’d have a little fun and list the five classic rock ghosts we’d want to “haunt” us.  Enjoy!

Lou Reed

There’s perhaps few figures in rock as cool and prolific as Lou Reed.  We bet he’d write some killer poem about the Presidential election or something equally as insightful.

Joe Cocker

Besides being one of the most distinct voices ever, we’d try to convince Joe of wrangling the ghost of John Belushi to recreate that awesome performance of “Feelin’ Alright” from Saturday Night Live.

Marc Bolan

If anything, we’re just dying to know what a “hubcap diamond star halo” and a “cloak full of eagles” is.

Keith Moon

Alice Cooper once said, “Everything you’ve heard about Keith Moon is true, and you’ve only heard a tenth of it.”  Frankly, we’d love to ask him enough questions to know another tenth about Moon the Loon.

Janis Joplin

Why would we want Janis to “haunt” us?  Who else would we drink SoCo with and take fashion cues from?!
