Ringo Starr dropped a surprise new song on Wednesday (September 21) to celebrate the United Nations' International Day of Peace.
Starr co-wrote "Now The Time Has Come" with producer Bruce Sugar, collaborating with All-Starr Band member Richard Page from Mr. Mister, former Men At Work frontman and All-Starr alumnus Colin Hay, Billy Valentine and social media musicians Casey McPherson, Jams Maslow, Christian Collins, Maddi Jane and Wesley Stromberg.
In a statement, the former Beatle says that,“I worked on this record with Peace & Love. It was a joy to be part of this project.”
The song is also part of the #HugForPeace social media campaign.
