Brian May’s surprising reason why Queen will never play Glastonbury

Queen is one of the few British bands to not play the iconic Glastonbury festival, and it looks like that won’t happen anytime soon.

Brian May, who’s an avid animal rights activist, told U.K.’s Plymouth Herald that Queen will never play the festival due to festival founder Michael Eavis’s stance on the country’s current badger cull.

The badger cull has been ordered to help curb the spread of bovine TB, and since Eavis is a dairy farmer, it’s obvious why he views the cull differently than May.
