8 Insane Travel Tips To Help You With Packing!

As travel goes, sometimes it's hard to figure out what to pack and how to pack it. Well, we've got you covered for your spring extravaganza.

Containers are everything. You can use Pill Boxes to non-tangle the jewelry, empty Tic Tac containers for Bobby-Pins, and even a contacts box to carry foundation or sunscreen.

Sometimes you will find cool gadgets that will bring you the most joy. Take for example, this travel iron. I mean, that is AWESOME.

To Fold Or Not To Fold?:

Roll your clothes instead of folding them. You'll fit more in your suitcase, and you'll have way less wrinkles.

Backup Plans:

ThriftyTravelTips.com suggests "Photocopy your passport and driver’s license and bring along 2-3 copies in various places in your bag. If either of your real IDs get stolen, at least you’ll have a paper copy to prove you are who you are. You can also carry your passport copy around in exchange of your real passport while exploring the city in case your driver’s license isn’t enough." I mean, that's a big deal!

Protect Your Belongings:

If you're going somewhere that's known for pick-pocketing, piracy, or any type of place where your bag could be damaged, invest in luggage that cannot be tampered with. Whether that's an alerted lock for when your luggage is opened, or something like a "slash proof" backpack.

Avoid Germs:

Hand Sanitizer. Lysol Wipes. Emergen-c. All of these things will save you from a world of sneeze. AlwaysErin.com suggests that though you may look like a germophobe, you won't end up arriving sick, which is always a plus.

Keeping The Kids Entertained:

As much as keeping yourself entertained with a Kindle, iPad, Book, ect, you need to think of the kids in this area too (if you're bringing the kids along). One tip from The Krazy Coupon Lady was to bring binders of pre-made coloring things and cards to play while traveling. Obviously if you're taking plane trips, cards may be a bad idea, but coloring or books might be a better plan for the carry on.

Pick Outfits Ahead Of Time:

This is where it gets tricky. You need to pick outfits that are already correlated, so look at it from this motto: "Bring full outfits - not random options!" WhoWhatWhere says that will save you so much more space in your suitcase.
And there you have it - if you follow these, you'll be a sure fire travel wizard!
