Daltrey Joining Liam Gallagher For TV Performance

Just before The Who kick off their next round of European tour dates, Roger Daltrey will be making an appearance on the BBC for a special performance with Liam Gallagher.

Per U.K.’s The Guardian, Daltrey and Gallagher will be performing “My Generation” on the 20th anniversary special of Channel 4’s TFI Friday, a live music show that originally aired from 1996-2000, which is set to air June 12th.  Joining Daltrey and Gallagher will be Ian Broudie from the U.K. alt group Lightning Seeds and Zak Starkey, who’s currently the touring drummer for The Who.  (Oh…and he’s also Ringo Starr’s son.)

Whether or not this special will air on BBC America is yet to be determined, but we’re sure someone will find a way to put this performance on YouTube, and you better you bet we’ll be looking for it!
