It’s no secret that Paul McCartney has used marijuana for decades, but in a recent interview, Sir Paul says he’s no longer lighting up.
Speaking with U.K.’s Daily Mirror, McCartney said, “I don’t do it anymore. Why? The truth is I don’t really want to set an example to my kids and grandkids. It’s now a parent thing.”
Well, you can’t fault Macca in that logic. So, has he picked up a new recreational activity instead?
“Instead of smoking a spliff, I’ll now have a glass of red wine or a nice margarita.”
Man…are we the only ones that want to head to “Margaritaville” with Sir Paul, or what? At the very least, you can perhaps have a margarita and watch McCartney on one of his upcoming tour dates this summer. He has a number of solo and festival shows lined up starting this month!
